#The zodiac movie 2005 123 movie
Once again, the acting in this movie is unparalleled.
It's rare for a movie to scare me or give me the chills, but that scene definitely did it for me. Zodiac only had one truly creepy scene in my opinion, when Robert Graysmith visits the one guy at his house and then he finds that it was him who signed the poster, then he descends into the basement.that scene gave me the chills, you actually felt for Graysmith, you were afraid that he may be the next victim. It's also a little bit more mysterious since they never truly reveal who the killer was, just a few good ideas, but nothing solid. You actually feel like you're discovering leads with the detective, you feel like you're on the same page as them, and you can't wait till the next lead pops up. I appreciate Zodiac in different ways because there was more investigative detective work going on. Zodiac carries many of the same attributes. Overall probably one of the best movies ever made in my opinion. The camera work was stupendous, the story development incredible, the ending was epic. If not for a few older styled haircuts, the pager, and the old 1990's cars in this movie, there's almost no way to tell what year this takes place in. In 1995 there was nothing else out there that even came close to this movie, and even though it's almost 20 years old today, this movie remains timeless in a lot of ways. Se7en was truly groundbreaking for its time. The constant rain, the fictitious city, the great character development between Mills and Sommerset, the depth of the character, the amazing acting and line deliverance, the effects and theme of the movie were monumental for their time. The overall mood of that movie was far darker and dreary. I give Se7en huge props since it was an original screenplay. Se7en was creepy all the way through with and epic ending!
Even though Zodiac was based on true events, I didn't really get into the movie for some reason.
